Thames South Teaching School Hub is an Appropriate Body for Early Career Teachers based in Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.
All schools that offer statutory induction are required to register their ECTs with an Appropriate Body. We work with early years settings, schools and colleges to ensure that their assessment is fair and consistent to ensure that ECTs have the best chance to meet the Teachers’ Standards at the end of their induction period.
Costs for schools for our Appropriate Body service: £195.00 per ECT per year.
This service is separate to the Early Career Teacher professional development programme ECTs complete as part of their statutory induction. The Appropriate Body recommends that schools follow a fully funded provider-led programme for their ECTs. We deliver UCL's outstanding programme to our region of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich.
